Pyramids FC defeated their Congolese counterparts, Mazembe, by a goal in the match that took place this evening, Friday, at the Air Defense Stadium, as part of the first round of the African Champions League group stage. South African Fakhri Lakay scored our team’s only goal in the 54th minute, following a shot from a ball received from Fiston Mayele inside the penalty area. This is our team’s first goal in the group stage of the African Champions League. With this victory, Pyramids top their group with 3 points and await the match between South Africa’s Sundowns and Mauritania’s Nouadhibou to determine the group leader after the first round.

8-0 Victory for Pyramids FC Women Against El Tayaran

Pyramids FC’s women football team delivered a stunning performance, securing an 8-0 win against El Tayaran at the Air Defense Stadium, in their eighth-round league match. May Magdy led the charge with an impressive four-goal haul. Farah Hisham added a brace, while Noura Khaled and Yetunde Fajobi each contributed a goal to the tally.
