Our Legacy
Our club was established in 2008 in Upper Egypt’s vibrant Beni Suef. We later relocated to Cairo, where the iconic Great Pyramids stand tall.
The Great Pyramids were built with stones from Upper Egypt’s Gebel el Silsila. Just as these stones journeyed to the capital and became the pride of Egypt, we’ve come to the capital with a dedication to make Pyramids FC the pride of Egyptian football.
Our aim is to craft a new legacy for Upper Egypt.

The Air Defense Stadium: The Blue Fortress
In 2018, Pyramids FC selected the “30 June” Air Defense Stadium as its official ground for local and continental fixtures. Since then, the stadium has been the impregnable fortress of Pyramids FC, witnessing numerous victories and setting several records over the years.
It was established in 2012 in the Olympic Village of the Air Defense Forces. It has a capacity to accommodate 30,000 spectators and features a glass VIP box, as well as hospitality rooms for officials and dignitaries.
The stadium houses a conference hall equipped with the latest audio-visual devices and includes more than 100 seats for guests. Additionally, it has a large media center outfitted with all necessary facilities to assist the media.
The stadium includes four fully-equipped dressing rooms, capable of hosting four different teams at the same time.
The stadium also boasts a gymnasium furnished with the latest fitness equipment, rooms designated for rehabilitation and physiotherapy, medical facilities, massage rooms, as well as sauna and jacuzzi facilities. It also includes a bath for player recovery post-training and matches.
The stadium features an exhibition showcasing Pyramids FC’s achievements and championships at all levels. It houses trophies, medals, jerseys of its most prominent stars, and their personal belongings. It also displays key events of the club and is open for all visitors to the Air Defense Stadium.
Pyramids FC plays its official matches on the main pitch of the Air Defense Stadium, and conducts its training on the subsidiary pitch No. 2, which is dedicated solely to the club’s training sessions.
The stadium also includes two additional subsidiary pitches designated for the training and matches of our youth sector teams in the Republic League, Sector League, and Egypt Cup. These fields also host training sessions and matches for the women’s football teams and the one-legged team.
Pyramids FC has hosted numerous official and friendly matches for Egyptian national teams at its official ground, starting from the senior team to the Olympic and youth teams.
Pyramids FC has also hosted several championships on its ground, including the 2019 African Nations Cup in Cairo, the African Women’s Champions League, and other significant tournaments.
