The Egyptian club, Pyramids FC, completed their training in the host country, fine-tuning their skills ahead of the highly anticipated clash against Sundowns. In a crucial Group Stage match, Pyramids FC will take on Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday. Led by President Mamdouh Eid, the team is brimming with confidence, emphasizing their determination to achieve the club’s objectives and secure a prominent position in African football. The training session, held at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, saw the players engage in a range of physical exercises, focusing on conditioning and adapting to the pitch. Despite heavy rainfall towards the end of the session, the team remained undeterred, displaying their resilience and optimism. As the match approaches, weather forecasts predict a high chance of heavy rain and a noticeable drop in temperatures in Pretoria. Nevertheless, Pyramids FC remains steadfast in their pursuit of a positive outcome in South Africa.

The technical meeting outlined jersey colors, kickoff times, and procedural details for Sunday’s clash at Loftus Versfel Stadium. Pyramids are set to visit Sundowns for a 3 p.m. kickoff on Sunday at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, in what will be the third round of the group stages for the prestigious continental club competition. The meeting resulted in Pyramids agreeing to don their traditional blue and white strip, with their goalkeeper to be clad in green. Hosts Sundowns will sport their iconic yellow and blue, with their goalkeeper in pink. Both teams are scheduled to make their way to the stadium at 1:10 p.m. with an immediate submission of team sheets to the match coordinator upon arrival being mandatory. Pyramids were represented at the meeting by Administrative Manager Ahmed Zaher, Head of Medical Staff Dr. Mostafa El-Mounayeri, Public Relations Manager Sherif Gamal, and Media Center Manager Atef Shady.
