Pyramids FC Advances to League Cup Quarterfinals

Pyramids FC has secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the Egyptian Club Association League Cup following a 3-1 victory over Zed FC. The match, which was part of the third round of Group 2, took place at the Air Defense Stadium on Friday. The scoring for Pyramids FC was opened by Fagrie Lakay with a penalty in the 34th minute. Mohamed Reda Bobo quickly followed with a goal in the 37th minute, and Marwan Hamdy rounded off the scoring in the 63rd minute, notching his first goal for the club — a mere 24 hours after joining the team. This win elevates Pyramids FC to five points, securing them second place in the group and just two points shy of group leaders Tala’ea El Gaish. Next up for Pyramids FC is a quarterfinal clash with Al Masry of Port Said, who topped their respective group to progress in the tournament.
