Head of the medical team, Dr. Mustafa El Maniry, confirmed the X-rays revealed a fracture in Hafez’s metatarsus (foot bone) sustained during a robust challenge. The defender will now undergo a period of rehabilitation training with the aim of a swift return to the squad. Hafez exited the match at Borg El Arab Stadium shortly before the final whistle after sustaining the injury. Dr. Mostafa baby El Monayeri, head of the medical team at Pyramids FC, confirmed the scan revealed a strain in the muscle of El Shennawy’s soleus (calf muscle).
