Pyramids FC marked their 100th win in the Egyptian Premier League, following a 2-1 victory over Ismaily SC earlier today, Monday, in the 15th round of the competition.
This significant milestone comes after the club underwent a name change in 2018. Yesterday’s win over Ismaily SC saw goals from Abdullah El-Said, who scored from the penalty spot, and Fakhry Lakay.
With this win, Pyramids FC maintains their top position in the league with a total of 16 points, while Ismaily SC remains in 14th position with 4 points.Next on the agenda for Pyramids FC is a clash with Mauritania’s FC Nouadhibou.
The match, taking place next Saturday in the capital Nouakchott, is part of the second round in the first group of the African Champions League.
