Geddo: Pyramids FC Aim to Maintain Lead Against Al Mokawloon

Pyramids FC head coach Mohamed Nagy “Gedo” has underscored the critical importance of their upcoming match against Al Mokawloon in the Egyptian Premier League.

A victory is vital for the team to solidify their lead atop the table, which they currently hold with 29 points after their recent 4-0 win over Gouna.

Pyramids will travel to face Al Mokawloon on Monday at 4:00 PM at Al-Gebel Al-Akhdar Stadium in a postponed match from the tenth round of the league.

Gedo stressed that the coaching staff and players are fully aware of the significance of the Al Mokawloon match in securing their league lead and maintaining their winning momentum, especially after the noticeable improvement in their ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities, as evidenced by their four goals in the previous match.

He emphasized the need to widen the gap at the top of the standings and urged caution against their respectable opponents, Al Mokawloon, who will be playing at home and are in need of a positive result to improve their position in the league.

Gedo highlighted Pyramids FC’s readiness for the match and their high spirits as they aim to continue their winning streak and achieve their second consecutive victory.

He expressed his unwavering confidence in the coaching staff and all the players, believing in their ability to fiercely compete for the league title until the very end.

Gedo commended the outstanding return of the duo Ramadan Sobhi and Ibrahim Adel, who scored in the previous match, as well as Mostafa Fathy, the Man of the Match, and the impressive performance of Congolese striker Fiston Mayele.

He affirmed that the team is united with a clear objective: securing the league title this season.
