Pyramids became the first team in the Egyptian Premier League to beat Al-Ahly club this season.
The owners of the land, the Pyramids team, had the initiative and advanced at the expense of the Al-Ahly club in the match in the 40th minute of the first half.
The first Pyramids goal came, after a magic pass from Ahmed Fathy, which reached Muhammad Al-Shaibi, and turned crosswise, without the presence of one of the Pyramids attackers, so that Muhammad Abdel Moneim played the role of the striker and turned the ball into the goal of Muhammad Al-Shennawi, the goalkeeper of Al-Ahly club, to give the landowners the lead.
Fakhri Lakai scored the second goal for the Pyramids team against Al-Ahly, in the match that was held between them today at the Air Defense Stadium, which was postponed from the twenty-eighth round of the Egyptian Premier League competition.
Fakhry Lakai’s goal came in the 77th minute, after a wonderful pass that put him in a position of complete isolation with goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shennawy, and the African striker succeeded in dodging the Al-Ahly goalkeeper and easily put the ball into the net.
The Pyramids team concluded the match’s goals festival in the 91st minute of the second half of the match, through Mostafa Fathy.
Mahmoud Saber hit a powerful ball, which Muhammad Al-Shennawi succeeded in stopping, and Mustafa Fathi followed the ball and put it into the net of Al-Ahly Club in the match.
