Pyramids FC will face the Rwandan Army team in the Round of 32 of the African Champions League. The Rwandan Army team qualified for the Round of 32 after defeating Azam FC of Tanzania 2-0 at home, overcoming a 1-0 loss in the away leg. Pyramids FC qualified after defeating JKU of Zanzibar 6-0 in the first leg and winning 3-1 in the second leg. Pyramids will face the Rwandan Army team away from home in the first leg on September 13, 14, or 15. The second leg will be held on September 20, 21, or 22 in Cairo.

A technical meeting for the upcoming match between Zanzibar champions, JKU, and Pyramids FC was held today at a hotel in New Cairo. The match is part of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League. Pyramids will face JKU at 8:00 PM on Sunday at the Air Defense Stadium for the first leg of the preliminary round. Pyramids FC has qualified to face Abu Qir Fertilizers in the Round of 16 match of the Egypt Cup. Pyramids achieved a 4-0 victory over Cairo’s Al-Nasr in the Round of 32 of the tournament.
