Dodo El-Gabas has played for six clubs during his football career, including two clubs in Egypt, Wadi Degla and Al-Masry. During his youth, he joined the Newcastle United Academy in England, known for discovering and training talented players under the guidance of Glenn Roeder, before returning to Al-Masry.El-Gabas has played for four European clubs throughout his professional journey: Lierse in Belgium, Newcastle United in England, Arles-Avignon in France, and Swindon Town in England.El-Gabas has been called up to the Egyptian national team on multiple occasions and has captained the team in a match against Tanzania held on June 14, 2015. The match ended with a 3-0 victory for the Pharaohs in their first qualifying match for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
