Karim Hafez began his football career in Damanhour before moving on to the GMG Academy, which is linked to Wadi Degla Club. He then transferred to Wadi Degla in 2013. In 2014, he made his first appearance in Europe with Lierse and went on loan to AO Chania in Greece.Following his second stint in Europe, he signed with Lens in 2017 before returning to Wadi Degla in 2018. Hafez then played for Bursaspor before joining Kasimpasa. He continued his journey in Turkey with Malatyaspor before signing with Pyramids FC in July 2022.Hafez has represented the Egyptian national team in 7 matches, his first being in August 2015 against Malawi in an international friendly.
