He started his football career at Wadi Degla in 2016 and recently joined Pyramids FC in the summer of 2023. Marei has also played for Future Club before his transfer to Pyramids FC at the beginning of the current season.He has also appeared for the Egyptian U-20 national team and joined the Pharaohs under the leadership of Portuguese coach Roy Vitoria.
