Ramadan Sobhi began his career with Al Ahly and made his first appearance in February 2014. He established himself in the first team at the Cairo International Stadium and helped Al Ahly win the Egyptian Premier League in the 2013-14 and 2015-16 seasons.His performances caught the attention of European clubs, and in July 2016, he joined Stoke City in England for £5 million. He spent two seasons with Stoke City before moving to Huddersfield Town in June 2018. In 2020, he joined Pyramids FC after spending the 2019/2020 season on loan at Al Ahly.Sobhi joined the Egyptian national team in 2015 and secured his place in the starting lineup. He also led the Olympic team to win the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Egypt in 2019, serving as the captain. He represented Egypt in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, as well as the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
