Pyramids FC Doctor Reveals Details of Ahmed Tawfik’s Injury

Dr. Mostafa Al-Muniri, head of the medical team at Pyramids FC, revealed that midfielder Ahmed Tawfik suffered a severe ankle sprain during the match against Rwanda’s APR in the African Champions League.

Tawfik had to leave the field during the first half of the match, and was replaced by Burkina Faso international midfielder, Blati Toure.

The extent and severity of Tawfik’s injury, as well as the duration of his absence, will be determined after he undergoes X-rays in the coming hours.

It is worth noting that Ahmed Tawfik will miss the matches against Zamalek and Al-Ahly Bank in the first and second rounds of the new Premier League season due to a suspension from the last league match of the previous season.
