Abu Dhabi Sports Council played host to a landmark event as Pyramids FC, representing Egypt, signed collaboration agreements with three of Abu Dhabi’s top-flight clubs: Al Ain, Al Jazira, and Al Wahda.
These agreements, forged within the framework of Pyramids FC’s strategy to foster international relationships, were celebrated for aligning with the vision of Emirati clubs focused on growth and development in football.
Pyramids FC’s CEO, Mamdouh Eid, was welcomed at the council’s headquarters to sign the agreements with his counterparts from the aforementioned Abu Dhabi clubs.
Eid conveyed his enthusiasm about the partnerships, which he believes will unlock new avenues for mutual growth and success between the clubs involved.
In a statement, Eid lauded the Abu Dhabi Sports Council’s commitment to promoting top-tier sports events across the Arab region and emphasized the council’s role in facilitating this multi-club partnership aimed at enhancing football standards in both Egypt and the UAE.
Eid also noted the diligent efforts undertaken by the management to elevate Pyramids FC’s status in the football world.
He expressed confidence that the agreements with Al Ain, Al Jazira, and Al Wahda would bolster Pyramids FC’s trajectory towards greater achievements on the football landscapes of Egypt, Asia, and Africa.
Eid also took a moment to express his immense pride in Pyramids FC’s identity as a distinguished Egyptian and Arab institution, highlighting the club’s national heritage as a cornerstone of its ethos and drive for excellence in the regional and international football arenas.
Talal Al Hashemi, Sports Development Sector Executive Director at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, commended Pyramids FC for its rapid rise to prominence in the Egyptian and Arab football scene, predicting a bright future for the club’s influence across the African continent.
Khalafan Al Shamsi, Executive Director of Al Ain Club, acknowledged Pyramids FC’s ambition and success, expressing enthusiasm for the partnership.
Similarly, Ali Al Hammadi, Executive Director of Al Jazira Club, lauded Pyramids FC’s impressive progress and strategic planning, also expressing excitement for the club’s participation in the Egyptian Super Cup at Al Jazira’s home ground.
Abdullah Salem Al Junaibi, Executive Director of Al Wahda Club, described the partnership with Pyramids FC as a critical step forward, with clear implementation strategies promising visible benefits for both entities in the near future.
