Mamdouh Eid, President of Pyramids FC, has recognised the achievements of Congolese striker Fiston Kalala Mayele by honouring him for being named one of the top three players in Africa for 2023.
Mayele has been in exceptional form for Pyramids since his arrival at the start of the season, competing across all tournaments.
His performances earned him a spot in the final three for the African Player of the Year award at a ceremony held yesterday in Marrakech, Morocco.
Mayele was the leading scorer in the last edition of the African Confederation Cup.
Ahead of the team’s session at the Air Defense Stadium, as they prepare for their Premier League fixture against Municipal El-Mahalla, Eid presented a commemorative shield to Mayele in recognition of his contributions, expressing his best wishes and hopes for Mayele’s continued excellence with Pyramids.
