Pyramids FC Tops Egyptian Club Representation in the Africa Cup of Nations

Pyramids FC has emerged as the leading Egyptian football club in terms of player representation at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, set to commence on January 13 in Côte d’Ivoire.

In a significant show of talent, ten Pyramids players have been tapped for the prestigious tournament, including seven players featuring for the Egyptian national team.

Additionally, the club boasts one player each on the national teams of Morocco, Burkina Faso, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Egyptian national team has enlisted goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shennawy, along with Ali Gabr and Osama Galal, Ahmed Samy and Mohannad Lasheen, Mohamed Hamdy and Mostafa Fathy.

The Moroccan national team fortifies its lineup with Pyramids’ Mohamed Chibi, while Burkina Faso benefits from the prowess of Pyramids’ midfielfer Blati Touré.

Completing the international contingent, the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s attack will be spearheaded by Pyramids’ striker Fiston Mayele.
